Nicotinamide Mononucleotide is a novel form of Vitamin B3 that is a 1 step precursor to NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide). NMN has been shown to boost NAD+, which is involved in hundreds of metabolic processes. NAD+ is key to the creation of energy and regulation of sirtuins (the longevity genes). NAD+ decreases with age, as NAD+ drops it reduces the cell’s ability to make energy and regulate sirtunis, causing signs of aging and become apparent.
